Not my pie
Just a side note since everyone has been asking...I cheated and just found a pic of lemon pie online to post b/c I made my pie at my mom's and let it set there while I came home so when I actually did my posting, my pie wasn't here to take a pic of! So, sorry for the confusion! Next time I promise I'll take a pic of the real thing!

Oh, that's fine. I absolutely love lemon pie filling. We are so used to the Jello brand that when we got a recipe where you actually use real lemon juice and make it from scratch, we just didn't like it as well. That's the same way as macaronin and cheese. I was so used to opening a box and cooking it that when I learned from Martha Stewart that you could actually make your own, the kids were a little stand-offish about it.
I like all your advice about cheap date nights. I love this pie. so delicious.
